welcome to storytelling photography, where we go until the light is gone and don't watch the clock. these sessions are the yearning of my soul. honesty and vulnerability. it's not just about having something beautiful to frame on the wall for now, or that perfect christmas card photo. it's about entering a mindset of future thinking and presence thinking, and what it is you hope to remember rather than thinking about performing well. what are your kids seeing on the day to day that you want them to remember? and how can we bring that same essence to life in an epic location like a flower field? if there is sadness, i don’t want it hidden. if there is bliss, i want dancing. more than anything, i want time to allow everyone to get comfortable enough to be honest. It's all a part of the story.

Always do your research before booking a photographer. Visit the pages on their website, look at what their clients are wearing in their photos, how they edit, what the subjects are doing, what forms of light they're using. High quality art is a worthy investment, but you want to make sure you're in LOVE with what the artist has to offer. I personally do not release unedited images, I do not re-edit galleries in different editing styles at a client's request, I style all of my sessions and my expectations of clients include respect for my time, respect for my talent in my craft, respect in my boundaries, and to follow my styling & session flow suggestions.
